Day 61 MCO – 17th May Malaysia CCP Virus COVID-19 Update

Another day another dollar. New reported cases are getting lower and lower as even though the number of testing has remained steady. This is a good sign in handling the pandemic, however I am skeptical that the scientific community will be able to produce a vaccine in a year and half while we are 17 years away from the SARS epidemic and we still have zero knowledge regarding producing a viable vaccine.

Day 60 MCO – 16th May Malaysia CCP Virus COVID-19 Update

Its the weekend again. Another weekend where most wouldn’t even notice it’s the weekend. Looking at the new numbers today, I’d say it is time to reopen the economy so most people can regain their health instead of staying in deteriorating our health.

  • The FDA has halted the work of an innovative coronavirus testing program widely touted by the likes of Bill Gates and public health officials.

Day 59 MCO – 15th May Malaysia CCP Virus COVID-19 Update

Traffic around Klang Valley has increased on my way to and from work today. Things are picking up, people are seen going out and about jogging at public parks. It’s refreshing to see things go back to normal after all these debacle that affects people who doesn’t take care of their health and diet.

It’s the first day back to work for me on an alternating staffs schedule where half the office comes in 1 day and works from home the next day. Do you think this works or do you think we need longer stretches of time so we don’t actually alternate days increasing the risk of more people touching the door handles. Or does it even matter since we are going to be building immunity to this virus anyways?

Number of new cases continue to be under 3 digits but its not decreasing as much as we want. Perhaps this virus will not be gone from our community until we build herd immunity towards it like other viruses such the flu.

This is the 4th day of the Conditional MCO (CMCO) where businesses around the nation can begin reopening with certain conditions to be adhered to ensure minimal virus spreading.
